Motorcycling Victoria Farewells Ryan Fritz

Posted:

Motorcycling Victoria's Ryan Fritz will formally leave MV this week after six-and-a-half years of service.

Ryan was employed by MV in October 2010 to improve communications between MV and its members and to better promote the organisation‰Ûªs programs, affiliated motorcycle clubs as well all disciplines of motorcycle sport. Ryan will take on a new media and communications role at Sea Shepherd Australia.

During this time, Ryan redeveloped MV‰Ûªs website to make it more user-friendly and easy-to-use. In the last two years, since the new website was created, yearly website stats have greatly increased from 139,612 in June 2015 to 167,650 in June 2017.

MV‰Ûªs social media following have also increased dramatically. MV had just over 4000 likes on Facebook in October 2010 and now enjoys well-over 13,000 likes on Facebook. In August 2015, one highlights video to promote the final round of the 2015 Victorian Senior Motocross Championships in Albury-Wodonga has been viewed a whopping 65,000 times on MVTV on YouTube.

Ryan has also successfully published well over 200 stories in newspapers across Victoria, including stories such as ‰Û÷I‰Ûªm the legless legend of track‰Ûª in the Herald Sun, promoting the state‰Ûªs Victorian Championships and their riders as well as the sport‰Ûªs volunteers.

‰ÛÏIt‰Ûªs been an amazing 6 and a half years spent promoting MV, the sport and the equally amazing people that I‰Ûªve met along the way,‰Û
