Lorraine MacDonald was honoured at the Victorian Government‰Ûªs Community Sport & Recreation Awards at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Monday night, November 9.
Lorraine, from Whittlesea, is affectionately known around the track as ‰Û÷Mrs Mac‰Ûª, and started volunteering in 1973 when her young son wanted to ride a motorcycle.
‰ÛÏMy eldest son was always missing. I found out he was riding our neighbour‰Ûªs motorbike. We then gave him a mini-bike, helmet and a pair of boots and it all started from there,‰Û
