Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing Team‰Ûªs Justin Barcia and Aaron Plessinger head to Las Vegas looking for a top result aboard the 2020 Yamaha YZ450F this Saturday, October 19, at the 2019 Monster Energy Cup (MEC).
For the ninth year running, Supercross riders will line up at Sam Boyd Stadium for the one-off MEC event, which features a unique track design and offers the reward of one million dollars if anyone can sweep all three Main Events. This year, it gets kicked up a notch with a track that will be run in both directions.
After capping off the Pro Motocross season with a best overall finish of fifth, Barcia looks to keep that momentum rolling and end the year the way it started at Anaheim I ‰ÛÒ on the top step of the podium. The 27-year-old won the MEC back in 2012, but is looking to take home the ‰ÛÏMonster Million‰Û
