Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki‰Ûªs Austin Forkner, Joey Savatgy and Adam Cianciarulo are ready for what should be an intense night of racing in the 250SX championships as the class faces its first of two showdown races of the season in Indianapolis.

Martin Davalos will be sitting out the round in Indianapolis due to injuries sustained at the previous race in St. Louis.

‰ÛÏAs athletes, injuries are no fun because we just want to be out there racing,‰Û
Adam Cianciarulo has three podium finishes for the year
After a tough night in St. Louis, Forkner would love to prove he‰Ûªs capable of winning not only with his regional competitors but with all the top 250SX riders on the gate. He‰Ûªs collected two wins already this season and a win in Indianapolis could be a huge help in closing the eight-point gap over the points leader.

‰ÛÏThis season has taught me a lot so far and I‰Ûªd say that the first race and the last race has helped show me that I can‰Ûªt ever quit until the checkered flag,‰Û

Coming into the showdown round only four points out of the Western Regional 250SX Championship lead, Joey Savatgy has been patiently waiting for his chance to make up the points difference in his own title chase. So far this season he has two second-place finishes and a win to his credit and is ready to add to that win tally.

‰ÛÏI‰Ûªm hoping our downtime won‰Ûªt be a factor when it comes to this weekend, but more of a benefit that we are well rested and ready to go,‰Û

Adam Cianciarulo went into the Western Regional 250SX championship scoring his third podium finish of the season. He‰Ûªs been close to victory but a win has eluded him so far - something he would like to change in Indianapolis. Cianciarulo raced the rutty track inside Lucas Oil Stadium before, earning a win in his first trip and fifth last year. He‰Ûªs no stranger to winning in the showdown format as the 2017 East/West Showdown winner last year in Las Vegas.

‰ÛÏIndy is known for being a tough track, especially when the mains finally come around,‰Û
