Momentum Builds As The 2014 KTM Australian Enduro-X Nationals Draws Near
The sport of Enduro-X in Australia is set to explode into action when the battle for the 2014 KTM Australia Enduro-X championship begins in a tri state series kicking off early February in Queensland.

The KTM Australian Enduro-X Nationals Series will kick off the 2014 off-road scene with total prize money of $50,000 on offer; some of the largest ever on offer for an off road series.

All of Australia‰Ûªs top riders and teams have committed to the series beginning on 2nd February at Archerfield speedway in Brisbane. With only a 2 week break the teams will head to Parramatta Speedway in Sydney on 15th February for a Saturday night of spectacular racing and entertainment.

The third and final round will be 2 weeks later on 2nd March at Melbourne Calder Park Race way.

Australian off road riders have proven to the world recently at the Italian ISDE that they can match the best in the world with Victoria‰Ûªs own CDR Yamaha pilot Daniel Milner placing 2nd outright in the prestigious world event ISDE.

With Motorex KTM's Toby Price set to make a comeback to racing after injury, Chris Hollis, Jarrod Bewely, Active8 Yamaha's Josh Green, previous winner and new KTM recruite Peter Boyle and up and comers Tom McCormack and Ben Burrell, all eager to take home some cash. Also Matt Phillip‰Ûªs, fresh from his win in the world enduro championship junior division.

There is plenty of action from the support classes which include experts, women, clubman, juniors and over 35s.

RBP promotions have expanded a very successful single event at Calder Park in Melbourne to a 3 state series at major well serviced venues. The MA sanctioned event has the total support of the industry, the riders and now the Australian public have the chance to see the sport that has gone to huge heights in Europe and USA.

With KTM the naming rights sponsor and great support across the entire motorcycling industry the series has created a lot of anticipation as a lead in to the 2014 Australian Off-Road Championships.

Dave Robbins from RBP promotions, ex pro rider and now promoter of the series, said, ‰ÛÏbringing three events together was a natural progression, and with so much interest and support we had to go the next level to a 3 state series."

"Motor cycling Australia have watched with interest the rapid growth of this sport and have supported the introduction of a series, and are very optimistic about the sports future in Australia." Robbins added.

For more information about the events in each state head to www.enduro-x.com.au, where you will also find Supplementary regulations and online entry.

Tickets for the events can also now be purchased online.
