Welcome to MID WEEK MOTO presented by Fullnoise.com.au, our weekly look into all aspects in the world of dirt bike racing.

From the weekends racing results, to the more interesting and unusual happenings from the week gone by including some of the rumours and findings on social networks, we will take a look and anything and everything dirt bike related.

Supercross:

All About Queensland: With the 6th and final round of the 2013 Terex Australian Supercross Championship still a couple of weeks away, Australia's Supercross focus will turn to the two round Qld Championship that Kicks off this weekend.

Round one will is being promoted by Australian Freestyle ace and talented SX rider himself Robbie Marshall and will be ran on a track on his parents property. Round two the following weekend will be held at Rob Howarth's property with both events being the perfect run in for the final ASX round which is also being ran in Queensland.

Josh Hill Staying With RCH Suzuki?: As we reported on Fullnoise.com.au after the Phillip Island round of the ASX, Josh Hill headed back to the United States to finalise some testing and hopefully seal his ride in the U.S for 2014.

Going by a twitter post on MotoXaddicts where RCH's Kenny Watts welcomed Hill back, it looks as though the deal may have been done for him to return to the RCH Suzuki team for the 2014 AMA Supercross Season.

LONG JUMP: - If you have not seen SX Lites KTM Privateer rider Dylan Longs latest video produced by Bret Trigg Visuals, you really should, CLICK HERE to view it, or check it out tomorrow on our "A Week In Motion" Feature Article.

Motocross:
Could 2014 be the first year since 2009 that Australia's best Women MX Riders line up at the same series as the Men, only time will tell - Credit: Mick Innes
Women Want In at 2014 MX Nationals: Multiple time Women's MX Champion and eight times reigning Victorian Women's Motocross Champion Kristy Gillespie was part of a push late last week by a leading group of Australian Female racers, petitioning for the Women's Motocross Nationals to return to run along side the Monster Energy MX Nationals.

To read an article we ran last week where Gillespie explains the reasons behind the push Click Here and to check out the petition itself CLICK HERE,

Let the Rumours and Guessing Games Continue: As we posted here last week the 2013 Australian Supercross season is almost over and there really has been little to no movement in where riders will end up for 2013.

Last week we had a crack a placing riders on teams for next year and are currently running a little competition via the Fullnoise.com.au Forum. Posting my 95% made up list last week did get some people talking and we have revised the list a little for this week!

Again this is ALL PURE SPECULATION ON MY PART! We have NOT spoken to any Team Managers or Riders regarding next season, though we will be asking a lot more questions once the 2013 season officially ends on November the 16th at Toowoomba.

Until all the teams are 100% confirmed for 2014 we will run this list weekly, then check back in a few months time once all the deals are done and dusted to see how close or how far away are original guesses where.

NOTE - We are not even sure that Husqvarna and / or TM will have official factory teams on the line in 2014, or that any or all of the current naming rights sponsors for the current teams will be in place.

Silly Season Week 2 Updated List:
CDR Yamaha: Billy Mackenzie / Jake Moss
Carlton Dry Honda: Hayden Mellross / Cody Cooper
Motorex KTM: Kirk Gibbs / Ford Dale
Motul Pirelli Suzuki: Matt Moss / Lawson Bopping
Monster Energy Kawasaki: Adam Monea / Kade Mosig
Husqvarna: Jay Marmont / James Booth Elliot / Jacob Wright
TM: Daniel McCoy / Simon Thompson
DPH Suzuki: Sam Martin

A little Fun: - To make the 2014 team line up guessing game a little more fun, we will organise a prize this week to give away to the person who can get the closest to picking the 2014 Pro Open / MX1 final team line ups.

The Competition will be ran on our Fullnoise.com.au forum and will stay open up until Friday the 15th of November (I have extended it until the night before the opening round of the SX season!) Head over to the Forum now and get your selections in.

Dylan Leary went 1-1 at this years Chinese International Invitational to take the overall win
Leary Loves His Chinese: Tasmanian racer Dylan Leary made his long awaited return to racing a couple of weekends ago in CHINA! Yep the talented Aussie who has been missing from the national scene for just over 12 months due to injury headed over to China along with Jed Beaton with the pair going 1-2 at the Chinese International Invitational race.

All eight international guests from countries such as Australian, New Zealand and Germany all raced near stock Honda CRF250R's againt the local riders on their own bikes.

MX Champion's Ride Days: The first MX Champion's Ride Days event kicked off at Broadford, Victoria on October the 27th.

With 15 years in providing motorcycle track days on road circuits, Champion‰Ûªs Ride Days changed up a gear and launched their MotoX Ride Days at the State Motorcycle Sports Complex at Broadford on Sunday, October 27.

Wanting to offer a fresh new approach to motocross, to get riders out of the bush and onto the track, Champions Ride Days MotoX made their mark with graded sessions, flag marshals and a fully-prepped circuit to entice any rider, with a lot of positive feed back coming from the day.

Not only do the days cater for the rider who is all decked out in their own gear and with their own bike, the MX Champions Ride day organisers also have Honda CRF250Rs and full riding gear to hire for those looking to get into the sport or thinking about making a come back. The next ride day is on the 24th of November, once again at Broadford, for more information head towww.championsridedays.com.au

Off-Road:
Will Toby Price be forced to ride a smaller capacity bike during the 2014 AORC or will the E3 class stay - Credit: IKapture (Greg Smith)
E3 Petition: While the Women MX racers of Australia petition to get their championship returned to run along side the MX Nationals, The Enduro Riders of Australia are Petitioning M.A to keep the E3 Enduro class alive at national level.

A Facebook page called Boycott The AORC If E3 IS Scrapped appeared online this week with the group doing all the can to save the E3 class that is rumoured to be replaced with a Under 19s class in stead in 2014, check out the facebook page here. https://www.facebook.com/boycottaorcife3isscrapped

Though not confirmed, scrapping the E3 class does seem a little odd. The class caters for bikes that are over 250cc Two Strokes and over 450cc Four Stroke. Both these size bikes a very common on show room floors around the country and Toby Price himself was leading the way outright at the Australian Off-Road Championship's aboard KTM's E3 machine, the KTM 500EXC before his unfortunate accident in the United States.

In a competition where riders for the most part do not take off from the start at the same time and all results are based on a stop watch, it seems strange to delete a class and force riders off the bike of their choice or to abandon racing the series all together.

Russell Holds On: KTM Pilot Kailub Russell has won the 2013 GNCC Championship in the United States by winning the final event of the season.

It was a fine performance by Russell to win his maiden championship after heading into the round with a narrow two point lead over team-mate and former champion Charlie Mullins. Australia's Josh Strang finished fourth in his first year back racing the full championship.

Jessica Gardiner Australia's Most Talented Two Wheeled Dump Truck Driver!: Picutre this - You have just finished as the runner up at both the Australian Four Day Enduro, by under 2 minutes after a small mechanical issue cost you two minutes in Penalties and also the Australian Off-Road Championship due to it clashing with the final round of the World Enduro Championship.

You then Finish Third overall at the World Championships, then back that up a week later with a national French Title, then 1 week and six days later lead your country to a ISDE Winners Trophy and Individual Class honours.

A pretty dam fine season, obviously with all that success you would just kick back for a couple of weeks before starting your full time training for the 2014 race season right?

Well not if your name is Jessica Gardiner, she achieved everything listed above and now with the 2013 season over and all the silver and gold wear in her possession she has gone back to work FULL TIME driving Dump Trucks in order to save to have enough money to do it all over again in 2014!

Honda CRF450 Rally Dominating Already: Sam Sunderland continued the Honda CRF450 RALLY success story, with a victory in the Merzouga Rally while his TEAM HRC team-mate HÌ©lder Rodrigues finished second.

The win comes just a week after Paulo Gon̤alves won the Morocco Rally and the World Championship on the same machine with the new Honda Rally bike winning a total of 9 of the 12 stages over the course of the two rallies. A good sign in the lead up to the Dakar Rally no doubt.

Queensland Enduro Titles: One of the final state based championships to wrap up for 2013 was the Queensland Enduro Championship that took place last weekend.

It was Husqvarna's Lachlan Stanford who secured the title from Yamaha's Tom McCormack with both riders in a tight battle throughout the 2013 series. Third spot on the podium was filled by Husqvarna's Kane Hall.

8 Hours of Tasmania: World Junior Enduro Champion Matthew Phillip will headline the 2013 Tasmanian Endurance Rider's Club's annual 8 hour race being held this weekend.

KTM Backed Charity Ride Raises Over $50,00 for Cancer Research: Australia's biggest charity dirt bike event, the KTM Ride4Kids, was held last weekend at the Dandenong Motorcycle Club in Wonthaggi, Victoria, raising close to $50,000 for children living with cancer and their families.

This year marked the event's 12th year attracting dirt bike riders from all over Victoria for a full day of non-competitive motocross and enduro riding. It is great to see one of Australia's biggest motorcycling companies getting behind this great event.

KTM DIRT DAYS ARE GO: Speaking of KTM, their annual KTM Dirt Day's are currently in action around Australia. The tour has already visited Western Australia and South Australia. We were set to head out to the South Australian Dirt Day ourselves but after a late night at a Quiz Night to raise money for the RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER we were unable to attend.

This weekend the Dirt Day's head to Broadford in Victoria before continuing up the East coast with stops in New South Wales and Queensland.
