Welcome to MID WEEK MOTO Fullnoise.com.au's weekly look into all aspects in the world of dirt bike racing.

From the weekends racing results, to the more interesting and unusual happenings from the week gone by including some of the rumours and findings on social networks, we will take a look and anything and everything dirt bike related.

MOTOCROSS:
Dean Ferris was on fire all weekend, showing he will be a contender in the MX1 Class in 2014
2013 MXON The biggest race of the Motocross season was run and won in Germany on the weekend with Belgium taking the win ahead of the United States and Italy at the 2013 Motocross of nations

QUALIFYING KINGS Team Australia consisting of Dean Ferris, Brett Metcalfe and Todd Waters where on fire on going 2-1-4 in their respective classes to top qualifying on Saturday.

WE WILL TAKE FOURTH The Australian team were once again solid on Sunday, with Dean Ferris claiming one holeshot and tied for the another on his YZ250F against two fields half full of the worlds best riders on 450F machinery! His 4-5 result on the weekend was nothing short of amazing.

Metcalfe was consistent, taking gate 30 in the first race leaving him buried in the field before working up to 10th, then rode another good race in the MX1 / MX Open race to 8th.

Todd Waters did not have much luck, crashing in the first turn in both motos and losing his front break in the first one and still came back to 20th after being one of the last riders to get up. His first turn crash in moto two was not as bad and he was one of the first to leave the seen coming through the field to finish 13th against most of the riders he will go head to head against in 2014.
Todd Waters had some bad luck at the MXoN but showed more than enough to prove he will be more than competitive in the World MX Championships next year.
KEN HANDLES THE PRESSURE Which Ken you ask? Well both. Ken Roczen in front of his home crowd with stood the pressure in his first race and with a little bit of luck held on to second place after a big crash by his 2013 season long rival Eli Tomac.

It then backed it up in his second moto, battling Tomac all race long and winning by a half a second to win the MX2 class.

The other Ken, Ken De Dycker withstood the pressure of being Belgium's last remaining hope in the final race of the 2013 event after team-mate and MX Open qualifying race winner Clement Desalle crashed out of the race on the opening lap.

With the points race getting close with a couple of laps to go as American Justin Barcia moved his way forward after going down, De Dycker put his head down on the last lap making up two positions and making sure Belgium walked away with the 2013 Chamberlain Trophy.

KING CAIROLI Is there a better complete motocross rider on the planet right now? Cairoli after picking up his 8th world championship this year, dominated the MXoN winning both of his races, coming through the field in the first race and running away in the second, leading the Italians to the final step of the podium.

KTM AJMX CHAMPS The KTM Junior Australian Motocross Championships is underway in Horsham Victoria, heat races are all but done and some finals have already begun, we will be back next week with more on this topic.

OFF-ROAD:
Daniel Milner has shown he is a world class enduro rider at the ISDE, how long until one of the World Enduro teams snap him up!
IT IS ALL ABOUT THE ISDE The 2013 International Six Day Enduro is well and truly underway at the moment in Italy with all three Australian teams looking good, though the French look to be the team to beat early in the proceedings.

The Aussie Trophy team is looked in a fierce battle with the United States for second spot, while Daniel Milner leads the way topping the opening day.

The Aussie girls are on top early, could this be the year our Female team takes top spot. Our Junior team looks solid in 5th spot and will be looking to move up the rankings as the event continues.

Like the AJMX will will cover this event more once it finished the weekend.

TAYLA JONES: One of the Aussie riders who who is on fire during the opening two days of the 2013 ISDE was Tayla Jones, we just happened to catch up with here as she was about to board a plane to Italy.
