Australian Hayden Mellross will carry the flag for the 51Fifty Energy Drink Yamaha team this weekend as the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross Championships heads into round five after team-mate Zach Bell was injured in Oakland.
Bell lined up in the opening Heat at round four in the 250 West class and made it through the first turn in 5th position. Latching onto the leaders pace and he turned consistently fast laps until lap 4 when he caught an edge on the dragon-back section and was slammed into the ground.
Bell came out of the gate in good position in the LCQ but went down after connecting with another rider in the second corner. With his ‰ÛÏnever give up‰Û
