McGrath to race six Supercross rounds

Seven-time AMA Supercross champ Jeremy McGrath announced today that he will race the first six stops Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Series which kicks off on Saturday, January 7th, 2006 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, CA. McGrath will not be on the starting gate this weekend as the first of the two world rounds gets underway in Canada. McGrath's remaining stops after Anaheim will be: Jan. 14, 2006 - Bank One Park - Phoenix, AZ
Jan. 21, 2006 - Angel Stadium of Anaheim - Anaheim, CA
Jan. 28, 2006 - SBC Park - San Francisco, CA
Feb. 4, 2006 - Angel Stadium of Anaheim - Anaheim, CA
Feb. 11, 2006 - Qualcomm Stadium - San Diego, CA

"This year just flew by and it seems that even with a part-time race schedule, I have been busier than ever!" McGrath said. "I'm training and riding as often as I can ‰ÛÒ so I'm definitely looking forward to the start of the season. It's great to be continuing to work with Honda‰Û_always great to be back at Anaheim and nice to finish out in San Diego." In other news, Jeremy is awaiting the arrival of his first child any day now! Throughout the year, Jeremy continued work on his merchandise and t-shirt lines and even spent a few weekends racing off-road trucks within the CORR series as part of the illustrious Baldwin Racing Team.
