Max Fricke Eyes Three-Peat At Australian Speedway U21 Solo Championship

Posted:

Mansfield‰Ûªs Max Fricke will be eyeing his third straight Australian Speedway under-21 Solo Championship at Kurri Kurri, New South Wales on Saturday night, January 17.

Fricke became just the sixth rider to win at least two Australian under-21 titles when he took out the series final at Gillman Speedway in South Australia in January last year.

Winning a third title in-a-row on Saturday night will make him one of the nation‰Ûªs most elite junior riders in speedway history.

Last week, Fricke finished fourth overall in the 2015 Matt Jones‰Ûª Motorcycles Australian Speedway Solo Championship which also culminated at Kurri Kurri.

‰ÛÏMy first few rounds in the Australian titles were pretty solid. I had a pretty good round at Undera, I ended up second, and was battling for the lead, which was really good,‰Û
