Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing has announced a multi-year deal with Max Anstie, who will compete in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, Pro Motocross, and SuperMotocross World Championships.

The British rider re-joins the championship-winning program after departing Firepower Honda during the week. The 31-year-old will debut the new YZ250F at Round 5 of the Pro Motocross Championship in Southwick, Massachusetts, on June 29.

Anstie made his pro debut with the team in Monster Energy AMA Supercross in 2010. He brings a wealth of experience and success from multiple championships overseas.

“This marks a new chapter in my career, and I’m motivated to take full advantage of it,” said Anstie. “I have unfinished business in the United States, particularly in Pro Motocross, and I know that Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing will help me achieve those goals. From Southwick onward, we’ll start understanding the YZ250F to prepare for a title run in 2025. I’ve never felt more ready.”

Chasing his dream of becoming a champion in the U.S., Anstie has shown impressive form over the past two seasons in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250SX East Championship. He scored his first win in the series last year at the East/West Showdown in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and was a consistent podium finisher, ending the 2023 season third in the 250SX East standings. This year, he built on that success with a runner-up finish at the Detroit Supercross eastern regional season opener and added another win to his resume in Philadelphia.

Jensen Hendler, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing 250 Team Manager, said, “We’re excited to have Max join the team and make his debut with us next weekend at Southwick. We believe he’s a championship contender and a great addition to our program. We’re looking forward to seeing what he can do aboard our YZ250Fs for the rest of this season and beyond.”
