Marc-Antoine Rossi will undergo surgery next week to repair damage to his right shoulder, with the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider set to begin rehabilitation immediately as he targets a return to FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship competition.
Rossi, who finished 19th overall at the opening round of the 2025 season in Argentina just two weeks ago, suffered a dislocated right shoulder in a training crash on Friday, March 7. A thorough medical examination at a hospital in Lyon confirmed a fracture, with surgery deemed the best course of action for a full recovery. The procedure is scheduled for Monday, March 17.
The 18-year-old Frenchman, who battled through a knee injury that disrupted his 2024 Grand Prix campaign, is now focused on making a swift return to the MX2 field alongside teammates Andrea Adamo, Sacha Coenen, and Simon Laengenfelder in the second half of the season.
