Motorcycling Australia has announced the launch of a new Elite Performance Academy (EPA).
The initiative, which will supersede the previous Australian Institute of Sport-based program, is set to involve the nation‰Ûªs top young riders from all disciplines.
Speaking about the EPA, National Development Officer Laurence Miller said it will be purely invitational; with selected riders invited to participate in the first phase of the program on the Gold Coast from June 12-14, 2015.
A selection process will then take place to determine the first intake of the inaugural Elite Performance Academy squad, who will then be invited to an advanced follow-up camp in September.
‰ÛÏThis is an extremely exciting announcement in regards to the development of our elite motorcycling talent in Australia,‰Û
