ISDE Debutant ‰Û÷Chucky‰Ûª Sanders has been one of the standouts in AORC competition this year, going almost undefeated in the U19 classification and finishing a brilliant sixth overall, and is looking to bring his considerable pace to the Junior team, where he‰Ûªll join Scott Keegan, Lachy Stanford and Tom McCormack.
‰ÛÏThe mood for us Aussies is really strong the supports and riders are all working together." Sanders said. "It‰Ûªs so much fun to be around them and it takes the pressure and nervous energy away.
"All three teams have an exceptional chance of winning as long as the tough terrain doesn't end riders with injury or mechanical. It's going to be hard to survive these six days. I'm riding a stock 2014KTM 300 EXC, it‰Ûªs just got my suspension and bars and it's good to go, these bikes are built tough so I'm confident on doing well at my first ISDE.
"The tests will be very tough on the bikes on days 1 and 2 with rocks and bulldust. Days 3 and 4 will be completely different with deep desert sand, sand dunes and a technical, rocky test. I think I'll cope, as all the days asimilar to some of Australia's riding.‰Û
