David Walsh has topped the time sheets of the 2017 Tatts Finke Desert Race Prolouge and will set off first on the opening leg of the two day race from Alice Springs to Finke and back.
Walsh topped the time sheets with a time of 4 minutes and 55 seconds aboard his KTM 500EXC to qualify fastest ahead of South Australian Ivan Long aboard his Husqvarna FE450, while Daymon Stokie was third fastest aboard his Active 8 Yamaha.
Making it four different manufactues inside the top four, Jacob Smith put Honda in the running with a time of five minutes and four seconds.
