KTM Enduro Factory Team riders Alfredo Gomez and Jonny Walker are ready and looking for success at the Red Bull Romaniacs Hard Enduro Rallye, which kicks off today in Sibiu, Romania.
Known as one of the world‰Ûªs toughest hard enduro events, ‰Û÷The Wild One‰Ûª as the organisers have named it for 2017 promises to be an event to remember.
Kicking off with the iconic and crazy prologue held in the streets of Sibiu, riders head into the Carpathian Mountains for what promises to be four tough days of extreme riding.
Both Alfredo Gomez, who secured a memorable win at the ErzbergRodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble back in June, and Jonny Walker head to Romania with only one goal ‰ÛÒ to successfully complete the arduous multi-day event and battle for the top step of the Romaniacs podium.
‰ÛÏI am really looking forward to Romaniacs," Gomez enthused, "Sibiu is a beautiful place and I really love the event. I was so happy to win the Red Bull Hare Scramble last month, the biggest result of my career. I hope to carry that form into Romaniacs and step to the top of the podium again. Graham Jarvis will be hard to beat and my team-mate, Jonny Walker, will be looking for another win. I am confident in myself though and my KTM 300 EXC is working really well.‰Û
