KTM Australia has again upped the ante with its support of the i98FM Camp Quality Convoy, donating a brand new KTM RC 390 on the occasion of the event‰Ûªs tenth year.
The annual i98FM Camp Quality Convoy takes place each November in the Illawarra region of NSW and sees almost eight hundred trucks and approximately 1300 motorcycles travel the 77-kilometre journey which starts at the Westcliffe Colliery.
Travelling a route lined with thousands of enthusiastic supporters, the fund-raisers make their way to Albion Park to join in on the fun day for spectators and participants, which this year included acts such as Guy Sebastian, Dami Im and local act The Villians.
Despite the weather throwing up a few challenges of its own on the day, this year‰Ûªs convoy was an astonishing success, raising last year‰Ûªs fundraising record mark of $1.1 million up to a brand new record of $1,539,907.
The funds go towards helping Camp Quality deliver vital services for children with cancer and their families, and according to The Dirt Bike Factory Principal and Mister Motocross legend Anthony Gunter who presented the incredible prize from KTM, it‰Ûªs only getting bigger.
