Queenslander and long-time Yamaha rider, Kirk Hutton, is primed and set for the journey to Tasmania to contest the 2015 Australian Four-Day Enduro (A4DE) championship.
Hutton, 42, will be trying for his sixth Australian enduro title in the Championship Veteran‰Ûªs Class, when the event kicks off on October 19th.
"I couldn‰Ûªt be more excited to be travelling to Wynyard with my family to contest this four day,‰Ûª Hutton said. It sounds like it‰Ûªs going to be a real enduro, and I‰Ûªve always loved multi-day events.
‰Û÷My WR250F is performing incredibly well and I‰Ûªm excited to get out there and hopefully bring home another title for Queensland and for my sponsors.‰Ûª
Hutton said he had again been selected for the Queensland Senior Trophy Team.
‰Û÷I wasn‰Ûªt able to continue through to the event on the team because of a rule in the sup regs ‰ÛÒ that Veteran‰Ûªs class riders aren‰Ûªt able to be on a trophy team. I‰Ûªve heard this rule might be changing for next year, which would be great ‰ÛÒ as a proud Queenslander I love to represent my state.
‰Û÷Regardless, though, I‰Ûªm stoked to be going and will be cheering the trophy guys and girls on, as well as doing my best in my championship class.‰Ûª
Hutton wished to give a special thanks to Yamaha Motor Australia in his 15th season riding blue.
‰Û÷I can‰Ûªt thank my sponsors enough and in particular Yamaha and Fox for all their support,‰Ûª he said. ‰Û÷They are outstanding companies that offer unparalleled products and support for their athletes. I‰Ûªm so grateful to be part of the team.‰Ûª
