Newly crowned FIM World Supercross Champion Ken Roczen kept his good for going to claim the King of Bercy.

Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen battled it out for the 39th Supercross of Paris over the weekend with Roczen prevailing to be crowned ‘King of Paris’ after dominating on Sunday.

Australian Matt Moss was crowned the new ‘Prince of Paris’ after winning the SX2 250 class.

A total of 40000 spectators come at Paris la Defense Arena to cheer their heroes for the premier European Supercross. Tomac won the first round on Saturday, but today Roczen replied by winning the three races on Sunday. It was a perfect night for the German, beating Tomac in the three races. Justin Brayton rounded out the top three with hometown hero Marvin Musquin fourth and Cooper Webb fifth. USA claimed the team’s classification.

“What a way to end my first weekend at the Paris Supercross,” Roczen said. “I gelled with my CRF450R from the very start of the weekend and felt great, even when the track got chewed up at the end there. Thanks to all of the fans for coming out this weekend!”

Aussie Matt Moss had one of the biggest wins of his career by claiming the Prince of Bercy crown for 2022.

In the SX2 class it was another perfect result with Matt Moss winning the three races; yesterday it was Chris Blose, today it was his teammate Moss who got great starts to win the overall classification as Blose was unfortunate with a crash at the second start and another in the main event. Second was Jace Owen who carded 8/2/2, followed by Brice Maylin (3/5/4) and Cullin Park (2/3/9) who lost his chances due to a crash in the last moto. Moss was crowned new Prince of Paris, with Jace Owen and Chris Blose on the podium.

Next year the Paris Supercross will celebrate its 40th birthday, and Larivière Organisation has one year to prepare the event which will take place on November 18th and 19th 2023.
