Team Motul Suzuki head into the 8th round of the 2015 MX Nationals at Nowra, NSW this Sunday the 2nd of August with Kale Makeham the sole rider for the round after Matt Moss Motocross season came to to a premature end at Shepparton.

Makeham who currently sits 10th in the championship standings is looking forward to heading to the second track in succession to make its debut on the national circuit and is confident of a good result after some more solid time at home training.

"It is a new track for us to race on this weekend, Makeham commented. "I have ridden at the track a couple of times, but never raced there, so I am looking forward to seeing how it shapes up on race day.

"I am feeling good heading into round out, I have continued to work on my corner speed and feel that I have made progress in a few areas I have been working on over the past couple of weeks.

"I am looking forward to getting out there and mixing with the guys again this Sunday. " The Suzuki RM-Z450 pilot added.

Team-mate Matt Moss will miss the remainder of the MX Nationals series after a collishion during Superpole at the 7th round of the 2015 MX Nationals held at Shepparton in Victoria on Sunday the 19th of July, left the reigning two time MX Nationals champion in the hands of Racesafe.

Coming off a season best 2nd place overall round result and moto win at round six just two weeks prior, Moss showed that he was back on top of his game early at Shepparton, topping regular qualifying aboard his Suzuki RM-Z450

Unfortunately during his Superpole lap Moss left the up-ramp of a tabletop only to be confronted by a piece of working machinery on the downside of the jump.

With no chance of changing the flight path of his bike mid flight, Moss slammed in to the machine and after being treated on the scene by RaceSafe was taken to a local Hospital.

‰ÛÏSuzuki Australia Pty Limited was concerned to hear of the accident at the MX Nationals in Shepparton on the weekend and the injuries sustained by Team Motul Suzuki‰Ûªs Matt Moss. "National Marketing Manager Lewis Croft from Suzuki Australia commented .

"Suzuki is following the investigation being carried out by Williams Event Management, Motorcycling Australia and the event Steward and we are monitoring Matt‰Ûªs condition closely.‰Û
