Dubbo Dirt Bike Club based in Western NSW set the stage for its Roar Open event, with juniors tackling the track on the Saturday.

The track, which features some fast flowing turns with plenty of whoops and tabletops, was prepped to perfection by the club and definitely lead to a great day of racing.

Action MC, Factory Spec rider Corey Hamilton went four from four dominating the 85cc/150cc4st 14/u16 year's class with his main challenge coming from 85cc/150cc4st 12/u14 year's class winner Dylan Heaton.

Jaiden Corrigan also showed some promising speed but a flat tyre and a few crashes didn't do well for his overall position. Trent Wheatley and Tyler Bullen joined in the battle up front early on but couldn't match the outright speed of Hamilton and Heaton.
65cc 9/u11yrs winner Jy Roberts (100)
Coastal KTM rider Jy Roberts was one of the stand out riders of the day dominating both the 85cc/1504st 9/u12 yrs and 65cc 9/u11yrs classes winning all 8 motos. He didn't have it all his own way though with challenges coming from Jake McGlashan, Jackon Davison and Wilson Medcalf. Roberts and McGlashan had some very close racing at some stages side by side over jumps but Roberts was able to hold him off to the finish.

City Coast MC rider David Ustariz dominated the 65cc 11/u13 yrs with convincing wins in all four motos. Local boy Jake McGlashan riding for Dubbo City MC put in a great effort and fought hard to keep pace but was unable to match the fitness and determination shown by Ustariz.

Today will see the Seniors take to the track with Raceline Pirelli Suzuki riders Lawson Bopping and Errol Willis leading the lineup of top NSW riders looking to take home the $1000 first place for the Roar Final.

Riders will battle in 2 heats with top 15 into the main race with 2 laps per leg. After each 2 laps the bottom 6 riders will drop off until we are left with 6 riders. The winner of the the final leg will be crowed Roar champion and take home the $1000 cash.
