Junior Victorian MX Championships Round 1 Run and Won
The Opening round of the 2014 Victorian Junior Motocross Championships have been run and won at Warrnambool over the weekend.

Victorian rising motocross star Cody Dyce was one of of the riders who shared in the spoils in the 250cc A Grade class finishing equal first with Tasmanian Wade Kirkland with fellow Victorian Callum Norton finished third.

13 year old Cody races for the Victorian Yamaha Junior Development Racing team and last year finished runner-up in the 12-16-year-old 85cc A Grade class, and this year started his season off by claiming a first, second and a third; picking up 97 valuable championship points in the process.

Danielle Foot stepped up her assault on the Girls title. The aspiring professional motocross rider from Grovedale in Geelong emphatically won all three of her races on Saturday and now has a commanding 9 point lead over Grovedale resident Ebony Harris and Yarra Glen rider Samantha Beecroft.

Another rider who got his season off to a great start was Mailor's Flat teenager Beau Stuchbery with the 15-year-old finished fourth overall in the 250cc B Grade class and second overall in the 125cc B Grade class.

Beau was ecstatic at being able to pick-up some valuable championship points on his home track at Lake Gillear.
