The AUSX Open has confirmed that AMA 250cc West Coast Championship runner-up Julien Beaumer will compete at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on 22 November.
Beaumer, who rides for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and hails from Lake Havasu, Arizona, will race in Australia for the first time. He will join a field that includes Jett and Hunter Lawrence, Cole Davies, and additional international riders still to be announced.
Since beginning his AMA Supercross career in 2023, Beaumer has claimed Rookie of the Year honours in both Supercross and Motocross. In 2025 he scored his first AMA 250cc Supercross victory at San Diego and briefly led the championship standings before finishing second overall behind Haiden Deegan.
“Competing in Australia for the first time, at one of the world’s best known international events, is huge for me,” Beaumer said. “I’m excited to meet the Australian fans for the first time and go head-to-head with Cole (Davies), as well as other riders from around the world. I’m using it as preparation for my 2026 season in the US, so am lining up to give it my all for the win.”
AUSX Open Managing Director Kelly Bailey said Beaumer’s inclusion strengthens the event’s 10th anniversary edition: “Julien Beaumer is among the most promising talents in global Supercross, and his first appearance in Australia will add serious heat to the 10-year anniversary AUSX Open. With Beaumer, the Lawrence brothers, Cole Davies and more big names, yet to be revealed, fans are going to be in for an epic night of racing and entertainment.”
The AUSX Open will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, with Beaumer’s debut adding to the list of international competitors confirmed for the event.
