Team USA has been forced into a late change ahead of the 2026 FIM Motocross of Nations, with Julien Beaumer drafted into the American squad to replace injured rider Chance Hymas for next week’s event at Ernée, France.
The American Motorcyclist Association confirmed the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider will join Cooper Webb and Levi Kitchen in the United States line-up for the prestigious international event, which will be held from October 2-4. Beaumer will contest the MXGP class, while the team will once again be managed by AMA Director of Racing Mike Pelletier.
The call-up marks another significant milestone for the young KTM rider, who has rapidly established himself as one of the sport’s brightest prospects since making his professional debut in 2023.
Pelletier welcomed Beaumer’s addition to the team and thanked both the rider and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing for making the late change possible.
“We’re grateful to have Julien join our team and commit to representing the United States,” Pelletier said.
“He is the ultimate professional, with a deep passion for his country, and we’re proud to welcome him to Team USA.”
Pelletier also acknowledged the support of Beaumer’s team in facilitating the opportunity.
“We also sincerely appreciate the full support from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in making this opportunity possible on such short notice. I look forward to working alongside Julien as we aim to bring the Chamberlain Trophy back to the United States.”
Beaumer arrives at the Motocross of Nations following several impressive seasons that have seen him emerge as one of America’s leading young riders. After making his professional debut in 2023, he finished runner-up in the 2025 AMA Supercross 250 West Championship before backing that up with second place in the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross 250 Championship.
The United States will head to France chasing its 24th Motocross of Nations victory after finishing second overall at last year’s event.
With Webb bringing experience at the highest level, Kitchen fresh from securing the 2026 250SMX World Championship and Beaumer stepping in for the injured Hymas, Team USA will be aiming to return the Chamberlain Trophy to American hands when the gates drop at Ernée.
