Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has inked a multi-year contract extension with 2023 FIM Enduro1 World Champion, Josep Garcia. The agreement solidifies Garcia’s continued collaboration with the team for the foreseeable future.

Since his induction into the team in 2017, Garcia has consistently delivered outstanding performances, amassing numerous EnduroGP race victories and clinching three world championship titles (Enduro2 in 2017 and 2021, and Enduro1 in 2023).

Notably, Garcia secured consecutive overall wins at the prestigious International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), triumphing in Italy in 2021 and again in France in 2022. The upcoming 2023 ISDE in Argentina presents an opportunity for Garcia to achieve a remarkable hat-trick of victories while representing the Spanish World Trophy team.

The 26-year-old expressed his joy and pride in continuing his journey with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, stating, “I’m really happy and proud to announce that I will be staying with the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing family. It has been a long journey with them – since I was a kid my dream was to be in this team, so it’s great that it’s continuing. I think we make an incredible team, achieving huge goals together such as our three world championships, two overall Six Days wins, and we’ve got many Spanish enduro titles too. We have a strong relationship and I’ve been with the team since 2017, so I’m truly proud to continue with this family. We will keep giving it everything for the next three seasons.”

Fabio Farioli, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Enduro Team Manager, expressed his delight at the prospect of working with Josep. He commended Garcia’s unrelenting dedication to achieving his goals and highlighted his remarkable comeback from injury to secure the Enduro1 title. Farioli looks forward to their continued collaboration and the potential for even more world championships in the future.
