Jesse Dobson aims to keep the KX125 in the limelight

Posted:

Queenslander Jesse Dobson will be smiling on the long twenty-five hour drive from Noosa to Murray Bridge next week as he can now race in the two classes at the Honda Australian Junior Nationals.

Kawasaki Australia were determined to keep his two stroke dreams alive and together with Richard Baker from Crazydog Kawasaki, Paul from MPE Suspension and Procircuit have built Jesse one mean KX125.

Kawasaki stopped making the KX125's in 2008 and they are definitely a dime among a dozen.

"The bikes are just as dominate as the current brands", said Dobson "And in the US they are consistently up their on the podium with the Team Green riders".

Jesse has been on the the top step of the podium in 2011 and Kawasaki Team Manager Glen McDonald wanted to help keep his consistent results alive with the two stroke class.

"We know that Jesse will be one of the only kids on the line on a 125cc machine, but all of us here at Kawasaki know that he will give it his best on the day," McDonald said.

Dobson has been testing the bike for the last two days and is very happy with its performance.

"It's super quick!" added Dobson. "Kawasaki has been such a great help this year with both the 125 and the 250 bikes and I know that I can be at the pointy end. I can't thank everyone involved enough and hope that I can make them proud," he concluded.
