Swiss motocross star Jeremy Seewer will hit a remarkable milestone this weekend, making his 200th consecutive start in the FIM Motocross World Championship.
The achievement, unprecedented in the sport’s 68-year history, will take place on home soil at the Frauenfeld circuit, just 30 kilometres from his hometown of Bülach, Switzerland.
Seewer, 30, began his full-time GP career in 2014 in the MX2 class after debuting with four wild-card appearances the previous year. He moved up to the premier MXGP category in 2018 and has remained a consistent presence on the global motocross scene ever since, scoring points in every GP he’s attended. Over the course of his career, Seewer has secured 13 GP victories, earned six FIM medals, and currently sits just three points shy of fourth place in the 2024 World Championship standings.
The timing of this landmark event couldn’t be more fitting, with Seewer achieving the feat in front of his passionate home crowd, known for their enthusiastic support. Kawasaki has expressed their best wishes for Seewer, hoping for a memorable race weekend.

Reflecting on the milestone, Seewer shared his thoughts: “I didn’t realise I was about to reach 200 consecutive GPs until you told me. While podiums, wins, and medals are what truly matter to me, celebrating this in front of the Swiss crowd is super cool. You can’t plan for something like this. There’s no secret except hard work, smart decisions, and taking care of your body. I’ve been lucky to stay almost injury-free, though everyone crashes at some point. Let’s enjoy this moment with the team and fans, and hopefully celebrate with a good result.”

As he approaches this milestone, Seewer remains focused on delivering a strong performance in front of his home fans in Frauenfeld.
