GoPro have released the onboard footage from Yoshimura Suzuki's James Stewarts camera from the opening round of the 2016 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship last week.
Showing the complete first two laps of the main event, the GoPro captures the intense battle between Stewart, Justin Barcia and Jason Anderson as they battle for the race lead with the video coming to an abrupt holt just after the two minute mark after Ryan Dungey and James Stewart collide.
The crash knocked Stewart out causing a red flag with the two time former SX champion unable to make the re-start.
Stewart had been in doubt for tomorrow's round two of the championship at Pecto Park San Diego, however his team have confirmed this morning that he will be lining up after being given the all clear to race.
