Australia's Jack Miller is confident of a strong showing at the 2013 Australian round of the MotoGp in the highly competitive Moto3 class despite a tough run during today's qualifying session.

Miller who rides for the Caretta Racing Technology team and is currently the highest ranked Honda rider in the Moto3 championship strggled to get a clean run during this afternoons qualifying session, fighting his way through traffic on all of his hot laps.

He ended the session in tenth place and is confident of a strong showing tomorrow, though he knows it is going to be a little tougher starting a little further down the grid than he has at recent events.

‰ÛÏWe have the speed, but we just couldn‰Ûªt put a lap together, Miller explained. "There was always some traffic so I had to pass some people.

"This makes it a little bit more difficult for the race, but the bike‰Ûªs working good, and I feel strong. Tomorrow we just have to make up some positions," he added.

At the end of the day's MotoGp proceedings, Miller was one of a host of GP riders who ventured over to watch the round four of the 2013 Terex Australian Supercross Championship held at Lukey Heights, just behind the GP circuit.
