Matthew Phillips has endured the highs and lows of enduro racing this past weekend at the Enduro World Championship GP of Italy.
The Tasmanian rider put in a solid performance at round 13 on Saturday to place second in the E2 class and second in the overall classification across all classes.
Saturday‰Ûªs result elevated Phillips to a very comfortable championship points‰Ûª margin with just three rounds remaining. However, Sunday‰Ûªs round 14 turned sour when a mechanical issue with his Sherco 300SEF-R saw Phillips retire after the opening four special tests, unable to complete the day.
