International Speedway riders were strong in their praise for the race track prepared at Melbourne‰Ûªs Etihad Stadium this Friday afternoon for their one and only practice session.
Seventeen riders took part in the practice session to get a feel of the temporary track which will host the decider of the International Speedway Grand Prix 2016, this Saturday 22 October.
Many of the riders praised the newly built track, which first saw action last year, and share their thoughts and experience about this year's Speedway track, including the strong Australian contender, Chris Holder.
"The track was nice and grippy, particularly in turns one and two, but then the track settled well given it was only recently built, Holder started.
"The track had bedded in well and was nicely consistent for the whole of the 346 metres of the lap‰Û
