Husqvarna Riders Ride Into The Unknown

Posted:

Husqvarna‰Ûªs Factory Support squad will race into the unknown this weekend as the 2015 Monster Energy MX Nationals comes to Shepparton in north-east Victoria for the seventh round of the 10-round series.

The layout and surface type for this weekend's venue remains a mystery to all five Husqvarna factory support racers as none has raced at Shepparton any time recently.

Despite this the Pioneers of Motocross will count on the level playing field effect, and back their ability to learn new conditions just as quickly as their opponents.

In the MX1 category, exciting young Queenslander Jesse Dobson will be looking to return to his goal of a top five overall finish in the premier class aboard his Husqvarna FC 450.

‰ÛÏI took a week off in Sydney after Raymond Terrace, just for a bit of a holiday and to clear the head a little bit. Now that I‰Ûªve come back I feel like my mojo is back and the want is back up the level where it usually is. Having said that also has come across a cold, so I‰Ûªm heading into this weekend without having done a whole lot of training on the bike." Dobson explained.

"I'm going into this weekend pretty much blind, but if I like the track and it's working for me and flowing, then there's no reason why can't be a top guy this weekend.‰Û

With Luke Arbon‰Ûªs form in the MX2 category on the rise last time out at Raymond Terrace, the 2014 number three is looking for further improvement when he takes his Husqvarna FC250 into battle on Sunday.

‰ÛÏThe weather has been pretty horrible at home and everywhere has been kind of flooded out, but I got a few solid days in this week, and, I've done a bit of mud riding, and stuff - I feel good, I'm ready to go." Arbon said.

"All I know about Shepparton is what I watched on a You Tube video the other day! It looks pretty okay, from what I can tell, so hopefully they do a good job of prepping it and they‰Ûªve ripped it all up. Should be good.‰Û
