Husqvarna Enduro Team ready for the 2013 A4DE 2013 in Harvey, WA
The lead up to the world's second largest multi day off road Enduro event, the Australian Four Day Enduro is well underway.

The 2013 event is regarded as "the" premier event in the Australian off road calendar and as such draws the very best off road talent both domestically and internationally.

Over 250 riders will participate in the 35th edition of the A4DE in Harvey, Western Australia. It has been over 10 years since the event was last held in Western Australia.

Husqvarna Racing Team regulars, Glenn Kearney (E1 Class/TE 250R), Matthew Phillips (E2 Class/TE 310R) and Lachlan Stanford (E2 Class/TE 310R), are in top form and looking for class and outright honors.

"I am excited to get to WA and race this year's A4DE." Kearney stated. "Our preparation has been excellent, with Joel keeping the boys on track with the bike, and I have been doing the hard yards in the gym and on the training tracks.

"It is always an exciting race over 4 days as anything can and usually does happen. The competition will be fierce, with guy's like Hollis, Milner, Merriman, Green and our own Matt Phillips and Lachlan Stanford.

"I know we have a great shot at taking out the event and will be putting 100% into making that a realit," he added.

"The thing about the PFG Husqvarna Enduro Race Team is, there is no stone left unturned leading into these big events with everything double and triple checked. We are in a great position for success, especially coming off strong results in the last few AORC rounds in the sand, much the same as I anticipate the 4 day tests to be in WA." Kearney concluded.

Matthew Phillips will be aiming for a top result at the A4DE before heading back to Europe to hopefully wrap up the 2013 EJ World Enduro Championship win
Returning from Europe after the GP of Greece and leading the Junior Enduro World Championship with a healthy 29 points lead Matthew Phillips is keen to race again on home soil in Australia.

"I am going in with the intention to win the 2013 A4DE for Husqvarna." Phillips commented. "With that in mind it's all about finishing healthy for me so I can continue my world championship pursuit to become the next Australian Enduro World Champion.

"I'm really excited to race in WA and look forward to working with the team," he added.

Lachlan Stanford heads in to the event confident that he has the speed to run up front and knows anything is possible if he can pull it all together over the four days.

"I'm really looking forward to the A4DE this year in Harvey WA." Stanford enthused. "My speed is really good at the moment I just need to put it all together.

"I think it will be really well run event by the WA Trail and Enduro Motorcycle Club and I cannot wait to get over there and race the competition," he added.

Action will start on Tuesday July 16, where riders will get to experience their first special test. This will seed the riders into their race start position for the official start of the 2013 A4DE on Wednesday morning.

The final day will take place on Saturday July 20 at the Harvey Commonage, where spectators can witness the riders in their final Moto to battle for the outright and class win.
