Paul Feeney Group has announced the appointment of Graeme Boyd Motorcycles as the new Husqvarna motorcycles dealer servicing the Newcastle region.
The appointment marks a return to Husqvarna of sorts for Graeme Boyd, the long time Suzuki of Newcastle motorcycle identity kicked off his early off road racing career way back in 1975 on the Husqvarna brand.
"It's great to add the Husqvarna brand to our existing products; we considered the brand shortly after Paul Feeney Group took on the distribution of Husqvarna back in 2004 however the timing wasn't ideal for us at that point." Graeme Boyd explained.
"The acquisition of the Husqvarna brand by the BMW Group has changed the landscape significantly with regard to increased consumer confidence and enhanced levels of quality and finish." Boyd added.
"I am very confident we can be very successful with the full range of products available from minicross through to the new Nuda 900 road models.
"I recently spent three days at the PFG Headquarters and came away impressed by both the new Husqvarna product and the staff at PFG. With the arrival of the new TR 650's in mid-December Graeme will have the full range of Husqvarna's in stock." Boyd concluded.
