Hunter Lawrence ready for teams home GP
Australian Hunter Lawrence is looking forward to his second race back when the 2017 World Motocross Championships heads to Lommel, Belgium, just a few hundred metres from the team‰Ûªs headquarters.

The Suzuki World MX2 rider is still looking to get back to 100% fitness following a back injury. Lawrence impressed on his return to action with a pair of eighth place finishes for seventh overall at the Czech GP after missing the two rounds.

The Czech GP went really well considering his lack of bike time, but Lommel is one track that will punish any weaknesses. However, as always, Lawrence is in buoyant mood and ready for the gate to drop.

‰ÛÏI‰Ûªm definitely looking forward to Lommel, I think everyone is. Although I‰Ûªm not sure how many people will be saying that afterwards as it‰Ûªs always a brutal experience," Lawrence said.

"Since Loket, I‰Ûªve tried to do as much riding and quality bike time as possible. I think my fitness is getting better, bit by bit I‰Ûªm getting it back. It‰Ûªs still not what it was because my incident but we‰Ûªre working on it to make the best it can be for the weekend. It‰Ûªs nice to have it as a home GP and a home GP for the team so I‰Ûªm looking forward to it and hopefully we can have a good weekend.‰Û
