Over 1,000 of Honda‰Ûªs friendly little Super Cub Racing Bears have been delivered to the Royal Children‰Ûªs Hospital Foundation to be sold by the Foundation‰Ûªs Auxiliaries to raise vital funds for the Royal Children‰Ûªs Hospital Melbourne.
The donation was presented to Andrew Long, Acting Executive Director of the Royal Children‰Ûªs Hospital Foundation, by Mr Hiroaki Funami, Managing Director Honda MPE and Graeme Baynes, Manager Parts & Accessories, Honda MPE in Main Street, the heart of the Royal Children‰Ûªs Hospital.
The 1,020 Super Cub Racing Bears will be distributed through the Foundation‰Ûªs network of Auxiliary groups who will sell them to help their fundraising efforts. A number of the bears will remain amongst the hustle and bustle of the Royal Children‰Ûªs Hospital Main Street and be available for purchase from the central Auxiliary store.
Graeme Baynes, Manager Parts & Accessories, Honda MPE says the donation was a logical one for Honda.
‰ÛÏWe know how much kids love teddy bears, and so it was an easy decision to contact the Royal Children‰Ûªs Hospital with this donation idea." Baynes commented. "We hope the Honda Super Cub Racing Bears will bring both the children joy and the Royal Children‰Ûªs Hospital important funds.‰Û
