Kyle Webster won all before him at the opening round and will look to carry that momentum through the entire 2021 season
The Honda racing team riders had an outstanding start to the 2021 Australian Pro MX championship, lead by the teams MX2 rider Kyle Webster, who took all before him in the 250F class, topping, qualifying before going on to win both races to walk away from the opening round with a perfect scorecard.

Showing the team will be more than competitive in both PRO classes, Brett Metcalfe also scored himself and the team a moto win, winning the opening MX1 moto on his way to finishing second overall for the day, while Kirk Gibbs rounded out a fantastic day for the team posting 5-3 moto results to finish fourth overall for the day in the MX1 class.

Webster started the day by delivering a searing lap to claim a sensational pole that was 2 seconds faster than his competition.

‰ÛÏMy Delcon Civil Honda Racing CRF250R powered me to first in qualifying and I felt comfortable straight away,‰Û
Metcalfe won the opening MX1 moto of the season and was in position to contest for overall honours before a late race fall left him to settle for second for the round.
Metcalfe was also happy with not just his result but with the performance of his bike as national-level motocross racing returned to Australia for the first time in over 18 months.

‰ÛÏI knew from practice to qualifying that our bikes were competitive,‰Û
Despite just missing the podium, Gibbs feels he could have done better on the weekend and the former champion will be looking for a better result come round 2
Kirk Gibbs's day did not go to plan, but he remains positive following his 3rd place finish in moto two.

‰ÛÏIt was an ok weekend, and we gathered a lot of data that will help us be better prepared for round 2. We bagged a bunch of points and sit 4th overall. We will be better prepared for round 2,‰Û
