Honda ‰Û÷Girls on the Gas‰Ûª 2008 Dates released

Dates and locations for the 2008 Honda Girls on the Gas competition have been released, with round 1 kicking off at ‰Û÷Cambridge Moto‰Ûª in Hobart, Tasmania on March the 1st and 2nd. Now in its third year running the competition will retain its format for 2008. Continuing with the recipe of four major judging categories where points will be tallied to determine an overall winner. The categories being: Technique on the Motorcycle
Speed on the Motorcycle (lap time)
Public Speaking
Fitness

Each state will have a winning representative present at the end of the years ‰Û÷Final Showdown‰Ûª to be held in Victoria. The big winner at the end of the year will receive a:

The Honda Girls Competition has already had a noticeable impact on women‰Ûªs racing in Australia. With riders such as Adelia Barton, Amy Boyd, Tahlia Neilson, Lauren Parsons, Taylor Jones and Jacqui Jones all going through the system. 2008 Dates and Locations as follows:
Round 1 Tas 'Cambridge Moto' 1st & 2nd March
Round 2 NT 'Darwin' 8th & 9th April
Round 3 WA 'Kalgoorlie' 3rd & 4th May
Round 4 NSW 'Maitland' 17th &18th May
Round 5 Vic 'Bacchus Marsh' 2nd & 3rd August
Round 6 Qld 'Conondale' 18th & 19th October
Round 7 SA 'Murray Bridge' 25th & 26th October
