Highway Performance Bikes Junior Off-Road Rider awarded second MNSW Night of Champions

Posted:

The Motorcycling New South Wales "Night of Champions" presentation was held at Penrith on Friday Night and Highway Performance Bikes Junior Off-Road rider Daniel Besz was awarded 2nd place for the NSW Junior Sprint and Cross-Country Championship for 2011.

Besz was able to achieve another successful season in the J3 class (13 ‰ÛÒ 14 yrs 200cc 2-stroke/250cc 4-stroke) on his KTM SX150 to finish overall 2nd place in the championship.

Daniel commented that "It was the consistency at each round that allowed me to finish 2nd in the Championship this year. Again I really enjoyed the longer Cross-country rounds, although it was very hot during the Cross-country round at Bulahdelah. The KTM 150cc 2-stroke is an easy and light bike to ride for both the sprints and the longer races".

Next year will be Daniel's final year in the Junior ranks and he will be competing in the Junior J4 class (15 yrs) on his KTM SX150 before stepping up to Seniors the following year.

This was a very successful year for Daniel at the NSW Sprint and Cross-country Championships and special thanks must go to Highway Performance Bikes, KTM, Motul and Kenny Signs for all their support throughout the year.
