GSX-R Anniversary Model

Posted:

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the groundbreaking GSX-R range first bursting onto the world scene, Suzuki have released a special edition model of their class-defining GSX-R1000 superbike.

The GSX-R legend began in 1985 with the launch of the GSX-R750, which created a new 'racer replica' category and lived up to Suzuki's "own the racetrack" racing heritage. The GSX-R750 was soon joined by the GSX-R1100 in 1986, followed by the GSX-R600 in 1997.

In 2001, as capacity for racing classes evolved, Suzuki launched the GSX-R1000 and instantly started winning more championships.

The GSX-R1000 is the ultimate fusion of performance and design and the 25th Anniversary Edition model encapsulates this with exclusive graphics and colours.

Complimenting the GSX-R1000's smooth looks are unique 25th anniversary GSX-R logos on the bodywork, and intricate laser-processed "25th Anniversary Edition" pinstripes on the rims of the front and rear wheels.

The left and right side mufflers also feature striking "25th Anniversary Edition" graphics.

With only 60 units available in Australia out of a limited 1000 models produced globally, the GSX-R1000 25th Anniversary Edition comes with its own individual serial number plate on the yoke and exclusive GSX-R ignition keys.

Available in a Titanium Silver / Pearl Mirage White colour scheme, the GSX-R1000 25th Anniversary Edition is backed by Suzuki's two-year, unlimited kilometre warranty.

For further information and pricing details on the Suzuki GSX-R1000 25th Anniversary Edition, interested customers should visit their local Suzuki dealer, who can be found through the Dealer Locator on www.suzuki.com.au.
