The Motorcycling Queensland Women's Subcommittee is currently working with a new Go Girls Racing Committee to run the Queensland series in 2016.
"The intention of the GGRA Committee for 2016 is to maintain the initial vision which was to support and acknowledge all female riders within Queensland, while still supporting our fantastic and dedicated male riders." A member of the committee told Motorcycling Queensland in an article that can be viewed

"We intend to carry on this series by running this event again in 2016 for all level of riders, both female and male, mums, dads, brothers and sister, and all that want to give it a go.
"This series is about family fun, growth and development, enjoyment, recognition, and most importantly, safety.
"This series is currently the only series in Australia that is run in support of our female riders, with all female classes being offered. It is of utmost importance that we provide a series that ‰Û÷thinks outside the box‰Ûª to grow our sport, and support Queensland‰Ûªs clubs and riders.
"The format of practice one day, race the next, is a risk-free approach, allowing for track familiarity and for riders to completely concentrate on racing. This in turn reduces the risk of injury. This carries over into Round Four for male riders, and for 2016 we will be combing the Queensland State Championships for both junior and senior female riders, and the first ever Vets title event.
"The first round of Go Girls will take place at Roma, and the same venue will be used for the last round, which incorporates the Queensland Junior & Senior Women's State titles & Vet Titles. This will give riders wanting to enter the Championship the chance to experience and get used to the Roma track.
"In 2015, you, the riders and families, asked for a sit down presentation dinner and this year we want to deliver. This dinner will be held on the Sunday evening after racing, and all families are encouraged to stay. It‰Ûªs not just about the podium presentations this year- there are many more prizes to be given away!
"By running as an interclub event, we aim to encourage new riders to participate, by allowing the purchase of day licences (day licences will not be available for State Championship events). An interclub event also allows us the ability to run a Novice Class.
"We believe 2016 will be a success and with your help and support we know we are creating something truly great that can and will benefit all."
