Glenn Scott Looking To Climb The Order At Winton

Posted:

Mangrove Mountain‰Ûªs Glenn Scott will be looking to consolidate his position within the Australasian Superbike Championship at this weekend‰Ûªs fourth round at Winton Motor Raceway this weekend.

Scott will also looking to gain further race podium results in an effort to climb up the series standings, with the team hoping to capitalise upon recent testing experience at the track.

Since the last round at Queensland Raceway, Glenn, along with his InsureMyRide racing team have made two journeys to the Winton circuit taking part in testing in preparation for this weekend‰Ûªs event.

Despite the treacherous weather they were faced, Glenn and his hard working team are determined they can make the most of the developments they made and move further forward in the Championship.

‰ÛÏAfter completing two tests at Winton I'm feeling confident moving into round four." Scott stated. "Although both tests were a rain out and very cold we didn't let them go to waste finding a good wet set up and managed to find a handful of laps on the second test day in the dry which has allowed us to find some direction with the InsureMyRide SP Honda Superbike.

Glenn managed to achieve a good amount of points towards the series standings at Queensland Raceway and despite a couple of dramas throughout that weekend he feels as though the team are ready to return to the top at Winton with extra emphasis being placed upon pre-event preparation and post-testing analysis alongside Race Center.

‰ÛÏWe managed to score a good amount of points towards the Championship in Queensland but we did experience some dramas along the way that prevented us from being able to secure a more comprehensive overall round result. After our positive test days and some extra hours spent in the workshop with the help of Race Center, the team and I certainly feel we will hit the ground running for the first race of the back half of the season,‰Û
