Victoria‰Ûªs Frankston City Motorcycle Park will been closed until further notice following a tragic accident over the Easter Long weekend that saw a 20 year old male rider lose his life.
The Motorcycle park that is operated as a non for profit organisation by volunteers will hold a general meeting tonight, Wednesday the 8th of April at the club house and has encouraged all annual members to attend.
"It is with great disappointment to inform everyone that the park will be closed until further notice, this decision was made by Frankston City Council until the findings from the weekends tragedy have been concluded by the relevant government departments." The club posted via their facebook page.
"We will be holding our general committee meeting tonight at 6pm in the club house and all annual members are encourage to attend. The Volunteers that put their personal time and effort into the park are devastated at this decision and together we hope to all band together for a resolution."
At this point in time there is limited information that lead to the fatality on the weekend, with police stating that the rider sustained head injuries and died at the scene after colliding with another rider.
