South Australia's "Female Fury" Womens Motocross Gold Cup has been hailed a great success with the girls putting on some great racing at the Riverland Motocross Club's circuit at Renmark on November 5th. Victorian Kristy Gillespie dominated the event, taking the Senior Lites and Womens Motocross Gold Cup wins on both occasions ahead of Zoe Mclean and Lucy Rzeskowski respectively. There is some fantastic talent coming up through the ranks some other major stand outs were Tori Dare and Steph Cutler. On the Quads Amanda Watson was a great personality of the track and on four wheels she was outstanding!!!! Organiser Kylie Brooke, who put in many hours and hard work to get the event off the ground was happy with how the event went. "A big thank-you to all the sponsors if not for them the event would not be" Brooke said. "Staintune Mittagong was the backbone to this race he was our major contributor and donated the trophy's made from highly polished muffler. McLeod Accessories in Queensland for the sponsorship of product and Yamaha Australia for there generous donation of Yamaha product the kids love it as well as the people that one the raffle". "At the end of the day everyone had some awesome racing no injuries which is always a good thing and look forward to doing this again next year and hopefully I will be racing next year", she added.
