After a successful inaugural year, the Honda 150 European Championship returns for 2014 and features an expanded calendar and the same prize for the winner of a ride in the European EMX250 Championship on a Honda CRF250R for the 2015 season.
As the first rung on the ladder of Honda‰Ûªs extensive participation throughout the categories of Motocross Grand Prix, the Honda 150 European Championship is aimed at nurturing and encouraging emerging young racing talent.
It provides the opportunity for 11 to 14 year olds to showcase and hone their skills on the European Motocross Grand Prix stage alongside the MX1 series, and crucially develop from an early age the 4-stroke riding skills essential for a career in modern motocross.
The championship winner will be promoted within the Honda Racing family and rewarded with a ride in the European EMX250 Championship aboard a Honda CRF250R, following in the steps of Italian Filippo Grigoletto who became the first Honda 150 European Champion last year.
