Though Marmont has won an Australian Supercross Pro Open championship in the past, he has narrowly missed being crowned as the winner of the current MOnster Energy SuperX series over the past three seasons.

Coming of the back of an emotional and Joyful week due to the birth of his son Jax, Marmont was excited to have his first win of the series to top of a pleasurable few days.

‰ÛÏIt feels awesome; to come here today I was already on top of the moon with the birth of my baby boy Jax. I have been running on so much emotion throughout the day.‰Û
A focused Jay Marmont leads during a dominating night, winning every race bar one on his way to victory.
Round three of the series marked the first time that the clouds parted ways for the main event and left the top riders to race against each other on a dry Supercross track, after two successive rounds in the Mud Marmont was back in fine form in the dry conditions.

‰ÛÏThe track was dry out there today and I was really feeling it, I‰Ûªm not hafting to fight the bike, the bike is amazing at the moment and we have a really good set up with it, I just have to ride smooth and it does everything I want it to do.‰Û
