Eli Tomac captures 2018 triple crown in freezing Minnesota
Tomac became the first ever winner of the Monster Energy Triple Crown with his win in Minnesota
Round 14 of Monster Energyå¨ AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship wrapped up the third and final Triple Crown format event, which features three main events deciding the overall winner.

Jason Anderson continued to increase his points lead in this years 450 championship with another second place round results. - Credit Simon Cudby
Anderson finished the night in second position, with his one position penalty in the second main costing him the round win. Despite that fact, Anderson once again increased his points lead in the championship standings and now leads Musquin by 29 points with just three rounds remaining.

Zach Osborne had to settle for second via countback , but like Anderson second place was enough to increase his championship points lead. - Credit Simon Cudby
In the 250 class it was Geiko Honda's Jeremy Martin who claimed the round win on the back of a 3-3-1 result, winning on count back from both Rockstar Husqvarna's Zach Osbourne and TLD KTM's Jordon Smith with all three riders ending the night on 7 points.

The second place finish for Osborne also seen him extend his 250 East points advantage over Smith to 12 points with Martin a further 4 points back in 3rd.
