While Toby Price and KTM have parted ways it remains to be seen if the likeable Australian will be back with another manufacturer.

Dakar Rally Champion Toby Price has revealed on his social media that KTM Racing will not be renewing their partnership following the conclusion of the 2024 Dakar Rally.

Expressing disappointment over the missed opportunity to compete in the legendary rally in 2025, Price remains optimistic about potential offers from other major manufacturers.

Reflecting on his long-standing relationship with the Austrian manufacturer, which began in Australia in 2010 with their domestic championships and transitioned to the Dakar Rally in 2015, Price acknowledges the end of a fruitful 15-year collaboration. Since his successful debut in the Rally in 2015, Price has been a key member of KTM’s factory rally program.

Despite the separation from KTM, Price will maintain his partnership with Red Bull and other sponsors involved in his ventures in four-wheel racing.

Toby Price and KTM have had plenty of success in their partnership with two Dakar titles and multiple stage wins.

“Everyone has been asking me about what events I’ll be riding in this year, but in some personal news, KTM has decided to not renew my contract so Dakar 2024 was my last event with them,” Price wrote on social media.

“I do feel like I’m still in my prime and going out there fighting for wins, especially at Dakar so it’s unfortunate to not have that opportunity to do it in 2025 but I’m really appreciative of the support they gave me in my career. We’ve been able to do some great things together like win two Dakars and get a couple of podiums, a World Championship and our success in Australia too.

“A big thank you also to Red Bull, Blundstone Australia, Can-Am Off-Road, ARB 4×4 Accessories and BFGoodrich Tires who have been riding along with me on the bike, really looking forward to the future. For now my focus is on the 2024 SCORE International Championship with Team Australia and to see what comes next.” Price Concluded.

KTM have yet to make any official statement but one will surely be on the way.
