Dubbo Club Championships decider to go down to the wire this weekend

Posted:

Catch the final instalment of the 2011 Motocross season this Sunday the 9th of October at Dubbo, NSW, as the highly popular Dubbo Motocross Championships are decided this weekend at Morris Park.

Expect the racing to go down to the wire as riders will need maximum points from each moto in order to secure the club championship for the year.

The recent damp conditions have ensured that the surface will be super grippy for riders and plenty of green grass in the spectator area will provide plenty of room for families to soak up all the action from the track.

The only certainty about the2011 results looks set to be Trent Wheatly taking out the 85cc class. The 65cc category will be a race between Harry Kruger and Ollie Ferrari while Brad Rankmore will need to be on his A game if he is to take out the junior Lites class.

Things are just as tight in the senior divisions; the Lites class should see some intense racing between Sam Williams and Aaron Rankmore with the winner on the day taking out the season's championship. It could be anyone's game in the Opens class with Ryan Byrne being hindered by some inconsistent results opening the gate for other riders to clinch the season's victory.

Gates open for sign on at 7:30 on the day with practice starting at 9:00. Spectator admission is via a gold coin donation. Full canteen facilities will be available.
