Dean Ferris looks to maintain form heading to Newcastle

Posted:

The 2010 Rockstar MX Nationals will pass the half way point this weekend with Round 5 of the championship to be held just north of Newcastle at the Raymond Terrace MX Central Circuit were young Queenslander Dean Ferris is looking to continue his giant killing form.
The 19 year old privateer Honda rider will be looking to maintain his strong charge in the 2010 Pro-Open championship and build on his current form as he aims for a podium position in Newcastle.

Ferris has been the stand-out rider in the series so far with a host of top 3 race results, which currently leaves him sitting in 4th place on 167 points, only 4 points behind Cougar Burbon Thor Honda rider Todd Waters in 3rd place. Ferris is looking forward to the challenge ahead this weekend and has been working hard over the past 2 weeks since his scintillating performance at Toowoomba in Round 4.

‰ÛÏWe have been busy over the last 2 weeks trying some different suspension settings and the Honda CRF450 feels great. Our plan is to start up where we finished in Toowoomba and keep gaining momentum. It‰Ûªs a long championship and we are still in the mix for the title," Ferris said,

‰ÛÏWe had a good weekend at Toowoomba and barring my spectacular high speed 2nd moto crash we would have been on the podium for sure. The Honda is working really well and I am looking forward to this weekend at Raymond Terrace," Ferris concluded.
